Our Greek Language Program was launched in 2010 and has seen over 200 students enrolled annually over the years. The program offers Greek Language education for children in JK, SK, and Grades 1 through to 8. Each grade has its own classroom and its own teacher (some Grades have more than one class due to high enrolment), all of who are fluent in both English and Greek. The program is language based and intended for children who seek to be bilingual in English and Greek.
Our goal is to provide a Christ-centered environment and standardized program of Orthodox instruction for your child. Our weekly lessons follow a curriculum of materials and resources from the Greek Orthodox Department of Religious Education. We take scripture, history, tradition and liturgical life and to combine them in such a way as to help your child understand our Orthodox Faith better and to help them come to know Jesus Christ and His Holy Church.
The Greek Dancing program is an integral part of our Community’s Youth Programs. Greek folk dance is also an important part of Hellenic Culture. The primary purposes of this program are
to bring youth / adults together in Greek Orthodox Christian fellowship, to help our youth develop strong moral, ethical and leadership standards, and to develop, promote and preserve our Greek heritage and culture.
